In Loire-Atlantique, on the west coast of France, a hunter was attacked by a wild boar, leaving the hunter with serious injuries. The accident happended around 5 p.m. in Frossay, also the fire brigade arrived at the scene.
The organizer of the driven hunt tells his story as can be read on 20minutes. “The hunter was lacerated by the boar all over his body”. The hunter was overpowered by the keiler which kept on fighting with his sharp tusks. The final balance of this unforeseen accident: twenty wounds similar to stabbings.
The hunter was in bad shape when he was transported to Nantes University Hospital. A second hunter was charged by the same boar, he got away with minor leg injuries. According to the newspaper, the condition of the first hunter is no longer life threatening, this Tuesday morning.
